Aesthetic fillings are tooth coloured fillings that are durable and fracture resistant. It can withstand moderate pressure from chewing. Aesthetic fillings are an excellent option for people who prefer having fillings that blend with their teeth, giving it a natural appearance as opposed to having silver (amalgam) fillings.
To prepare the tooth for the aesthetic fillings, the decay will be removed from the tooth, and the tooth coloured filling will be placed in and over the tooth, protecting it and preventing further decay and damage.
